Ankle boots have taken a new direction this year and I’m in love! We addressed the latest heel styles in our ankle boot article, so be sure to check that one out. Designers are looking back to the 80’s for pop inspiration and the 60’s to add mod twists. White boots fit in both categories and are sticking around for Fall. They work best as an ensemble, so let’s take a look at a few styles that really work!

Classic 80’s Style

Look to your favorite 80’s movies and new wave bands for easy outfit inspiration. Slouchy white boots or boots with fringe are making a big comeback. How easy to just throw on a white blazer and a pair of boots with legit 80’s flavor? Instant charisma, instant style!

Music Alert! I’ve posted a few tracks by Hanne & Lore. This one is an attention grabber.

Always Bet on Black

The obvious answer is to do the black and white combo. Lace tights or black tights finish a pair of white boots perfectly! Black tights give a little edge to an outfit and work great with a lace or velvet dress. You can rock this look with a classic floral dress too, just be sure to accessorize with the right handbag!

Lace ‘Em Up

Want to punch up your office wear? Try a pair of lace-up white boots with your traditional suit set. Hopefully you’ve been inspired by our favorite ruffle styles enough to add them to a suit as well. Dress up business fabrics and prints with a flirty twist! Lace-ups in a kitten heel are the trendy alternative to your boring old pump.

Pair With Cropped Jeans

Lace-ups also look so stinking cute with cropped jeans. Show off your white boots as much as possible with a short hem! They are not made to hide away under a pant leg or maxi dress. Once again, add the subtle black and white aspect with a moto jacket or black blazer. See where I’m going with this?

Mod Up a Mini

If you’re not super into the 80’s style, try the 60’s mod look instead. White boots with a low block heel are also known as “Beatle boots”. They look great paired with a mini or a jumper. Make sure to accessories with a structured bag and a pair of cat eyes! It’s a great way to show some leg and still look footloose and fancy-free.

Western Mama

If you can find a pair of western boots in white then hold on to them for dear life! White boots are perfect with acid-washed denim and a country flair. Add a western belt in white to finish off the look. It’s a little bit country and a “lot bit” pop!

Best White Boots in Town

So you may have noticed me flashing back to vintage styles and then getting hyped about new Spring styles. That’s pretty much the idea! It’s a nice little twist to current fashion and adds some fun to any outfit. The best selection of white boots are available via Jeffrey Campbell. Never Sacrifice Comfort!

I always cringe when I hear someone talk about sacrificing comfort for fashion. Especially when it comes to footwear! Your white boots should always make you feel like you could walk a mile in your own shoes. Get yourself into a pair of comfy ankle boots and that’s just what they’ll do!
