Oh, I’m sorry, did you think I was done talking about fur coats?  Not when these babies are prancing around town!  Every girl should have at least one multicolored fur coat in her closet.  They are such a fun way to stay cozy and warm while out and about.

Patches and Stripes

First, the two main styles that have caught my eye are in either patches or stripes. It’s so exciting to see what different designers are coming up with! Multicolored fur coats are like the IT fabric for winter. Gorgeous colors and luxe fur make quite a stunning combination.

Multicolored Fur Coat + 1

Now that everyone is playing around with faux fur, we can dress up like our grandmothers used to! Or classic Hollywood stars. A multicolored fur coat gives you instant celebrity status. Amp up your social media following and hit the town!

Did I Mention Warm?

A hidden secret about fur coats is their amazing lining. Soft and silky, you can dress like a normal person underneath and feel great! All that fur keeps you so warm, I don’t know why we’ve waited so long to make these mainstream. They work perfect from day to night, too. A great way to dress up a pair of jeans or get away with wearing less on a cold night.

Cozy + Bright

Now that designers are going crazy with print-mixing, the patchwork variety can go with just about anything. As always, Just keep the colors in the same basic hue. You can always tone down a patchwork style by pairing with solid colors for the win. That’s probably the best advice for the mature set.

Rock a Stole Why Don’t Ya?

If a big, bulky, fur coat is just too much for you, that’s okay. You can still work the multicolored fur coat style with a stole! Stoles are taking over the IT girl’s scarf market, so get on board while it’s fresh!

Big Things Come in Small Packages

Now, I never thought I’d see the day when I’d write something like that header there above. But it truly does apply to jewelry and stoles. For anyone still experiencing warm weather into Fall, the stole is the perfect choice! You can go big and bright with color just like you would any crazy scarf.

More of the Wallflower Type?

If the mixed colors in a multicolored fur coat or stole is a bit much for you, don’t fret. I still place browns and oranges in this category. You still get the striping or patchwork look without all that brightness. This might be a good reason to have more than just one in your closet, wink, wink.

Go For Faux Fur

Multicolored fur coats are probably the one fashion item I could definitely purchase online without buyer’s remorse. My absolute favorites right now are from Nasty Gal. Get one quick before anyone else does! Some of these articles are kind of hard for me to find images for. Not this one. I’ve been stockpiling these image for the last few months. I wore a vintage fur for Halloween last night and became aware it was finally the time to share. xox
