One of the principle ideas in Feng Shui is circulation. Money is a very fluid form of prosperity and should circulate in and out of your life in a positive way. Prosperity is more of a mindset than a financial standing. My brother always says, “billionaires just have billion-dollar bills”. Enhancing this area of your home should be an encouragement to live within your means. Also, seek for ways to serve others with what you have. You might be surprised at what you attract to yourself as a result!
Think About Circulation
Walk into a room and look at the back left corner. What is that area like? Think about how it may be a reflection of what is going on with your finances. The element for Wealth and Prosperity is wind. The wind stirs up energy and works with water to create an ebb and flow similar to finances. The goal is to balance the amount of money going in and out of your life as you spend and save. This is a great area to place a water fountain or aquarium that runs 24 hours a day.
Red + Gold, Our Favorites
Red and gold are the main colors to use in this center. Try and place items here that make you think of opulence or wealth. Accent with green and purple – your domain is truly your castle!
Some other great enhancements are:
- Large healthy plants
- Lamps, night lights, red light bulbs

- Valuable possessions
- Artwork with abundant flowers, trees, etc.
Quick Fixes for Bathrooms + Fireplaces
Since water attracts energy, bathrooms can represent a major drain on your finances if located in this center. Make sure to keep toilet lids down and bathroom doors closed. Remove any images of poverty or anything that depresses you from this area. Place a water element such as a fountain or bowl of flowers on top of a fireplace to keep money from burning holes in your pockets!
Prosperity Stems From Gratitude
Wealth and prosperity are the result of an attitude of abundance. Hoarding money stems from fear and spending it unwisely does not invite it back. Prevent negative attitudes towards other people’s financial situations from seeing in. They encourage a lack of prosperity in your own life.

The point is to be grateful and live within your means. Find the quality of life that allows you to serve others while you live your own dreams. Your home has an inner beauty too, so be sure to enhance it!
